    • Conference cost: Each school is responsible for the registration fee of $225 per participant. Schools are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from the conference for their students and chaperones. All meals, accommodations, activities, and daily transportation to and from conference events is included in the registration fee. The registration fee can be paid via school check made out to:

    • Research: Each student will have the chance to present their research in a poster competition at St. Louis University.  An abstract will be requested in advance via the Student Research Conference Symposium Guidelines form, downloadable below.  If the student has a poster from a previous competition, feel free to bring that poster instead of creating a new one, regardless of whether it meets the criteria suggested here.

The poster should display the following:

      -Title
      -Name
      -School
      -Abstract
      -Introduction
      -Hypothesis
      -Methods
      -Results
      -Discussion/Conclusion with proposed future research
      -References and Acknowledgements.

    • Students will be required to provide their own poster. Students may bring it with them or ship it in advance of the conference. The display must be designed to be self-supporting and free standing on a tabletop or the floor. A table will be provided, but electricity will not be available. Students may place handouts on the table to distribute to interested individuals and prototypes are welcome but must cover an area no greater than 6 ft2. While shipping of posters can be costly, those who wish to do so, must have them shipped with a scheduled arrival date no later than June 6. Posters may be shipped to:
